Level: Intermediate and advanced
Competence requirements: Rigger and model must be experienced with basic full suspensions, safety in ropes, and they must have knowledge about the difference between sleeping arms, nerve impingement and nerve damages. Riggers must be confident in tying basic TKs and main suspension lines. Rope models must be comfortable in a TK, and body aware of their strengths and challenges in ropes. The participants will need their own ropes and it is recommended to have also a few oval carabiners as Kinoko uses them in his suspensions.
Selection results: The workshop spots are limited in order to guarantee good workshop experience for the participants. The positions are fulfilled in order of registration assuming that the competence requirements are met. Each registration will be handled separately after submisson. Selection results with payment information will be sent a couple of days after the submission of the registration. The registration will be closed after all positions are filled and remaining applications placed on queue.

Info about the workshopIncrease your shibari skills and technics in by learning tensions, TK’s, suspensions and aesthetics with the amazing teacher Kinoko in this three day hands-on workshop. During this workshop you will be able to focus on further development of your patterns and skills with one of the best shibari artists in the modern shibari world.
The workshop is designed for shibari practitioners who already have basic skills and medium or higher experience in tying. It is important that both the rigger and the model have earlier shibari experience and understanding of shibari safety.
During the workshop the following aspects will be touched upon. Changes and adjustments are possible depending on the special needs and wishes of the participants.

Info about KinokoContemporary artist, shibari master, rope artist and photographer Hajime Kinoko is well known outside of Japan, having conducted workshops in more than 20 major cities such as Paris, London and Munich as well as in Japan. In addition to considering shibari to be erotic, Kinoko is good at giving shibari pop interpretations and promoting it to art. His unique ties incorporating nature as well as projects involving the innovative use of space have especially won praise. In addition to performing in live rope shows, Kinoko has recently been actively releasing artwork including photographs and video, often being in charge of tying, photography and direction.
Kinoko started rope in 2001 and in the beginning learned rope by himself while receiving advises and guidance’s from master teacher Yumeko. Around 2003 Kinoko was managing a fetish bar where he learned from the late rope master Akechi Denki who was holding workshops at the bar. In 2008, Kinoko began taking lessons from Kanna who was a student of Akechi Denki. Kinoko also met Haruki Yukimura and took lessons from him for several years.
